IMS2016 | IEEE International Microwave Symposium | Graduate Student Challenge

The Graduate Student Challenge (GSC) will be offered at IMS2016 for its sixth season.  The program provides an opportunity for graduate students to team up with students from other institutions around the world to distill several papers from exciting topic areas into a proposed application of the underlying microwave theory and techniques.

The Graduate Student Challenge is open to all graduate students (MS/PhD) who are registered for the IMS2016.  Interested students must simply attend the kickoff event on Monday morning of IMS week to start the teaming process, after which posters are submitted before the Wednesday evening submission deadline.  These posters are then presented on Thursday morning to judges who represent very well-respected and well-known members of the microwave engineering community.  The winning team is announced at the closing ceremony, and they receive $2000 (to be split among the team).
